April 21, 2018 marked the 32nd Annual Raymond parade which the Sierra Shadow Casters were proud to be a part of for the 3rd Year. This year's turn out was a little light as many members had prior commitments. Bob, for example, had a BABY SHOWER to go to. That's right I said Baby shower! (I hope you won the baby bottle game Bob!) And of course our President was home recuperating from a broken leg. Missed your Buddy!
The weather was a warm 80 degrees so the 45 minutes it took to ride the parade route was a little challenging but, that's the nature of Parades. Not for the faint of heart. This year was a little different as the SSC was asked to have a booth at the Raymond Museum where various community service organizations were setup to promote their services.
Thanks to die-hard SSC member Lew Brown for making the booth possible by hauling all the stuff. You're amazing Lew! The SSC promoted our upcoming Sept 8th poker run benefiting Caring Veterans of America and we passed out membership applications.
Looks like we may have reeled in at least one new guy. Fianally thanks to Becky Brown (future member - whether she knows it or not) for taking the pics of the bikes in the parade. Your an angel Becky!
